Creating Metasploitable 3 (Labs)

 

Metasploitable is a Labs machine created to officially test attacks with the Metasploit Framework. There were versions called Metasploitable, Metasploitable2 and now metasploitable3. I wrote about Metasploitable 2 and how to attack it in my Hacking second grade book, so those who know it already know it.

You can build your own Metasploitable3 on both Windows and Linux.

1. Install VirtualBox and vagrant.

2. Install the VirtualBox Guest extension.

3. Restart your computer

Then you can start creating.

The scripts and commands needed to create it can be obtained from the official github repo below.

 https://github.com/rapid7/metasploitable3   

Note... . You need a good internet connection to create. Those who use the phone do not bite. It will take a lot of time.

If you have already done it, you can try it out and get the exploit.

If you don't know how to exploit

You will be able to read the book (in Burmese) called The First Step Towards Hacking.

Metasploitable 3 has two target systems, Windows and Linux. I mean

Victim has 2 machines, Windows & Linux, so you will get a really good experience when you test attack.

If you don't want to create Metasploitable 3 and

If you want to use it in VirtualBox after downloading, it is already ready.
